On October 13, 2025, project coordinator Kate Jēkabsone, together with representatives of the YOU+ development platform, participated in the technology inspiration conference “IT Day in Liepāja 2025” where visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the upcoming XR teaching materials. During the event, both students and other interested parties were able to test XR glasses and view construction site materials filmed on Vītolu Street in a virtual environment.

Innovative teaching methods are particularly important today – they help prepare young people for the changing job market, develop digital and green skills, and promote interest in their chosen profession. In addition, virtual reality solutions are both more understandable and more engaging for the younger generation, making the learning process exciting and effective.
