XGREEN.CON
The partnership includes very well-balanced entity profiles (VET school, Higher education institution, Technology Providers and an Industry representative-Chamber of Economy). All of the partners cover the following sectors with proven experience in EU projects: building and construction, XR and circular economy and environmental protection. Also, the consortium targets 5 different countries from northern (Latvia, Finland), south-western (Spain), south-eastern (Croatia) and central (Austria) Europe.
Liepaja State Technical School (LSTS) ist the coordinator of the project. It has experience in coordination of EU initiatives (such as Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training KA220-VET) and experience as partner in several Erasmus+ (including Strategic partnerships, CoVES) and INTERREG. LTST will lead the development of the VET EU curriculum and the pilot test to teachers and students of our results.
3DBear will be leading the development of XR experiences as they have broad experience in developing solutions with commercial and education goals that use the technologies under the umbrella of XR. They will lead the co-creation process of the XR experiences and the recording and editing of those exercises for students.
WKO Steiermark is a transversal business representative with devote office for training and experience in XR applied to education. It will lead the dissemination, exploitation and sustainability of the project, because they can reach a numerous number of enterprises of the sector for the definition of skills needs and for dissemination through the Austrian chamber of Economy. They also can reach excellent VET institutions through the two Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) platforms where they are involved: 3-LoE and GREENOVET. Those projects are in contact with other CoVEs projects through a Community of Practice (https://copcoves.eu/) including excellent organizations in the field of VET from all around the world.
SKILLS DIVERS is an enterprise supporting education with technology with experience in the use of XR in training and they will perform two main roles in this project. First they will be leading the training materials development and the validation of the pedagogical approach of the XR tools. And second they will perform the role of a quality assurance manager in this project with activities such as monitoring Key-Performance-Indicators (KPIs) or evaluating the different results of the project.
University of Rijeka (UNIRI) and the faculty of civil engineering has a broad knowledge in training in the construction sector, construction technology and environmental protection related to the sector. They will play two main roles in leading the definition of skills needs and proposing a joint curriculum for teachers in the sector and identifying potential Learning Outcomes (LOs) where XR can be used and benefit the students and teachers. In addition they will support the pilot stage by involving their teachers and students.
