3rd Webinar: Project Results – Insights and Outcomes

As part of the XRGREEN.CON project, the third webinar showcased the key outcomes and achievements of the project, demonstrating how Extended Reality (XR) and innovative educational approaches can support the transition towards a more sustainable construction sector.

The webinar, titled “Project Results – Insights and Outcomes,” provided participants with an overview of the project’s main deliverables and highlighted how the consortium has addressed the growing demand for digital and green skills in vocational education and training (VET).

The session introduced the Joint Curriculum, presenting its overall concept, structure, and the research activities that informed its development. Participants also explored the online course for VET teachers, including its learning objectives, key features, and practical application in teaching.

A dedicated part of the webinar focused on the XR learning scenarios developed throughout the project, demonstrating how immersive technologies can enhance education and training in sustainable construction. Finally, the consortium shared insights from the piloting phase, presenting feedback from students and educators as well as the key lessons learned during implementation.

Overall, the webinar concluded the XRGREEN.CON webinar series by presenting the project’s tangible results and demonstrating how digital innovation and sustainability can be successfully integrated into construction education. The session also provided an opportunity for participants to engage with project partners during a final Q&A and discuss the future potential of XR-supported learning in vocational education.
