From February 19 to 21, Liepāja State Technical school participated in the education fair “Skola 2026” held at the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala, attracting thousands of young people from across Latvia.

During the three days, visitors to the school’s stand had the opportunity to meet representatives of the management, teachers, and students, explore the wide range of educational programs, and get answers to their questions about studying in Liepāja.

Particular interest was sparked by our project and the learning materials integrated into XR glasses. Using these extended reality (XR) glasses, students could interactively experience the real working environment of a building technician, explore the learning process, and acquire green skills in a modern, digital format.

The XR experience enabled visualization of professional daily tasks and demonstrated how innovative technologies are being integrated into VET education, preparing young people for a sustainable and digitally advanced working environment.
